Who Will Be The Main Sponsors

As with everything in life, things don't come about for free so I would need a major sponsor to donate a part of fund so the event could go ahead. So what type of major businesses would I invite? Well the most obvious choice is to invite and choose one of the major local food supermarkets in the UK.

Sainsbury's is one of the largest supermarkets in the UK that ha been around since 1869 which started off as a small shop in London.

Tesco was founded in 1919 by Jack Cohen from a market stall in the UK's Capital. Today the brand operates over 12 different countries and serves millions of people every week.

Founded in Bradford the proud to be Yorkshire food retailer is the forth largest in the UK. They have over 500 stores with over 12 million shoppers walking through the doors each week.

Sharwood's is the UK's number one brand in Asian cuisine. They have a whole range of different products and recipes which have been inspired by the many traditional cuisines from around Asia.

Supposing that one of the major food retailers would be interested in listening what vision I have, I would have to say that I am leaning towards Morrison's. The reason behind this is because it's local to Yorkshire. I want this to be all about local people coming to celebrate Asian food form all backgrounds. It only seems fitting that it helps the local economies growth. I could also see this proud Yorkshire company be a more likely candidate to actually sponsor this event. You could argue that it has nothing to do with Asian cuisine but I'm sure they have a Asian range which they could promote through this.

I would have to approach Sherwood's because of its obvious Asian product. They are experts in their field and what better brand to have on board than the Uk's number one Asian food brand.

This is all in the presumption that they would be interested. In return for their sponsor ship,I would have to promote their company brand as well as my own. For this, I would include their logos and the councils on all the visual branding products such as the cups, the banners, the leaflets and all the many forms of advertisements that go out to the businesses and the general public. I believe that by doing this it would also give the event an professional big event look.
