Where Will It Be Held?

I would want the event to be a local event and the first place in mind was the city of Sheffield. The first reason that I have chosen Sheffield because of it's wide range of venues on offer where this event could be held but more to the point, Sheffield is a multicultural city with a population of over 551,800 in mid-2011 with around 19% of that population being black or minority ethnic groups.

Sheffield would be a ideal location to hold an event but the question is where?

The largest of these groups are from Pakistani origin but Sheffield also houses a large Indian, Bangladeshi and Chinese communities as well.

All stats and figures were sourced from www.sheffield.gov.uk

My point being is where would be a better local place than Sheffield to hold a Asian Cuisine Event. The locals could bring their traditions, customs and trades (cuisines) to the table.

Looking further into the community you can find all sorts of local Asian supermarkets and restraints all around Sheffield. These are the businesses that I would be inviting to offer and sell their produce in and around the event.

The event would be ideal for the local Asian supermarkets to show off their fresh produce to a wide range audience.

The event would also be perfect for local restaurants to advertise their local businesses which would benefit them by reaching out to more customers around Sheffield.

So it's decided then, Sheffield is the place to hold "Asian Twist". It has a large population which means there is more of a chance of people turning up, it has a large multicultural population with a good percentage of Asian and I believe it could boost the local economy which is a bonus. It's these small details that I need to include when I present it.
