I'm so glad I found this website, it's a perfect example of the type of event that I'm trying to create, A place where a variety of different cultures come together but with one difference, mine is an event as opposed to a website.
But I have discovered that Translade helps and organises events which are a celebration of different cultures through the arts which has got to be useful for idea's design and styles inspiration and techniques.

| I love this piece by an Artist from the Philippines known as "Bjotnik" The illustration is a colourful pieces which really gives me the urge to have ago. The idea and style would fit perfectly into my event but I have to admit I know how long this could take because I have created a illustration similar to this in the past and believe me when I say " they take ages" but I still like the idea of an illustrative map in a much simpler, cleaner looking design. May be I could incorporate a 2D design style like Eiko's work into an event map? |
