The Two (above) are works done by Marco Bauridel
Concept, Matt Paintings
These works of art are just at another level, I have sourced these to show me that the imagination is the limit, any idea that I have can be achieved (maybe not to this standard, but I will dam well try)
He use a mixture of photography and painting techniques to realise his idea. First and foremost a sketch is important to have a idea of what you want to create before you think about the final image. He then started with a base image to start of a train station, then he cleaned up the photograph removing parts and people using the clone stamp tool until he had a clean base image, from there he began to build up the image using painting techniques and blending further photographs of the sky in the background to the rocks in the foreground. All the individual elements were kept on separate layers so that colour or level adjustments could be changed with ease, I also see how he has used textures to add a layer of realism with a lot less effort than if you were to paint them free hand. In photoshop you can use textures to paint with to add detail with very little effort these are other processes to bear in mind when I have ago at photo manipulation. I can see this being very difficult to grasp but trail and error and ultimately experience is what counts here. |
