In my most recent project, I was disappointed that I didn't manage to have the time to have my work professionally printed or experiment with various materials with my final idea. This time will be different, so as a starting point I have ordered a selection of sample packs from the printing website printing.com.
This will give me a hands on feel for what printing options I have such as paper selections, weights and finishes. The website also offer a range of printing products like folded leaflets an saddle stitched booklets, to more professional looking brochures and wire bound books. These options could be a good way of my interpretation of a book, I could make a graphic brochure or a promotional leaflet, or these could be ways of supporting a bigger idea, who knows at this stage?
